On Thursday, March 16, 2017, the City of Torrance Office of Economic Development honored local businesses for their innovative economic development strategies for the year 2016. Winners were announced and recognized at the 10th annual Torrance Advantage Awards ceremony held at the Del Amo Crossing office complex at 21535 Hawthorne Blvd., which was purchased recently by the Muller Company and has been undergoing renovations.

Winners received a prestigious Torrance Advantage Award crystal trophy, $200 to help with basic operating expenses and a signed letter from the Mayor of Torrance. They also will be featured in City promotions such as the website, Torrance Seasons and other advertising avenues. Award winners in the four different categories included:
