The California Green Business Network provides a certification program that helps businesses become more environmentally sustainable and responsible. Certification in the Program includes the implementation of best management practices that address energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and a number of other “green” practices that help business and save money.

The City of Torrance has partnered with the Environmental Services Center of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments to help administer the grant, and their staff provides outreach to Torrance businesses.
