Torrance, Calif, – The City of Torrance has been named one of 50 finalists nationwide for the highly competitive Levitt Foundation Music Series Grant, and now we need the community’s help to secure the win!
The Cultural Services Division of the Torrance Community Services Department, in partnership with the Friends of the Torrance Theatre Company, is calling on residents and music lovers across the South Bay and the Greater Los Angeles region to cast their votes and help Torrance receive a multi-year $120,000 matching grant from the Levitt Foundation.
If awarded, the grant could help expand the popular TORRANCE SUMMER NIGHTS FESTIVAL at the Wilson Park Amphitheatre located at 2200 Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance, allowing the City to host more free, family-friendly concerts that bring our community together through the joy of live music.
More than 30,000 people attended our 2025 concert series, proving that live music is a vital part of life in Torrance. The Levitt Foundation is recognized nationally for empowering communities through free outdoor concert. The voting began Friday, September 5, 2025, and is open through Monday, September 15, 2025.
