On Friday, June 14th, Torrance City Beach welcomes in the Summer with the Torrance Police Department Beach Patrol Team. The Torrance Beach Patrol Team consists of Torrance Police Officers assigned to patrol Torrance Beach on foot, in police cars, and on All Terrain Vehicles during the weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

The Torrance Beach Patrol will perform high-visibility patrols and community outreach while working with additional department resources (Torrance Real Time Response Center, Torrance Mental Health Evaluation Team, Torrance Drone as a First Responder Program) as needed to ensure community members enjoy their visit to Torrance Beach.

The Torrance Police Department wants all community members who visit Torrance Beach to have a safe and enjoyable summer.
