Commercial Burglary Arrest

Between Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 11:55 PM and Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 4:52 AM, Torrance Police Officers responded to three separate calls for service regarding possible commercial burglaries in progress. The approximate locations of the crimes were the 21700 block of Western Avenue, 16400 block of Crenshaw Boulevard and the 1900 block of T0rrance Boulevard. The officer's subsequent investigation resulted in arrest at each location for a total of three separate and unrelated suspects in custody for burglary related charges.

Detectives are currently conducting follow-up investigations for each incident. These cases may be submitted to the City Prosecutor’s or the District Attorney’s Office for review once the follow-up investigations are completed.

The Torrance Police Department encourages community members to report all suspicious activity. "See something, say something." The Torrance Police Department also encourages businesses within our community to sign up for "Business Watch" (the business equivalent to Neighborhood Watch) through Business Watch On-line Registration.
